1.What's your favorite subject?你最喜欢的学科是什么？（教材第49页）
（1）What's your favorite...?意为“你最喜欢的……是什么?”，是英语中用来询问对方喜欢的事物的常用句型。
—What's your favorite color?
—White.
（2）favorite(like...best) 此处用作形容词，意为“特别喜爱的”，通常用作定语修饰名词，其前常用形容词性物主代词或名词所有格修饰。
Tom's favorite subject is English.=Tom likes English best.
2.P.E.体育
P.E.作名词，是physical education的缩写形式。
【拓展】学科名词作主语时，谓语动词用单数形式。
P.E. is very interesting.

（1）why是疑问副词，意为“为什么”，询问原因。常用来引导特殊疑问句，其答语常用“Because+句子.”。
