►weigh和weight的用法
(1)weigh v.称……的重量，……重多少
eg：—Have you weighed the cat？你称了那只猫的重量吗？
—Yes.It weighs 2 kilos.称了，重两公斤。
(2)weight n.重量
eg：—Do you know the weight of the elephant？你知道那头大象的重量吗？
—No.I haven't weighed it yet.不知道，我还没称它。
►be glad to do sth. 很高兴做某事
同义短语为：be pleased to do sth.
eg：He is glad to stay with the astronaut.他很高兴和那位航天员在一起。
►finally的用法
finally adv.最后，终于，相当于at last或in the end。

►tell 的用法
tell v. 告诉；讲述；叫；让
(1)tell sb. sth. 告诉某人某事＝tell sth. to sb.
(2)tell sb. (not) to do sth.叫某人(不)做某事
eg：You'd better tell him not to stay here.你最好叫他不要待在这儿。
同义短语为ask sb. (not) to do sth.(不定式短语作宾语补足语)
【拓展】make sb. do sth. 让某人做某事(此结构为省去to的不定式短语作宾语补足语)。
