Simple Sentences简单句
英语中，一个句子如果只有一个主语和一个谓语，我们称之为简单句。即使有两个或两个以上主语或两个或两个以上谓语，只要是并列主语或并列谓语，也仍然是简单句。常见的简单句的基本句型有：
1. 主语+系动词+表语（+状语)
在此句型中，谓语动词不能表达一个完整的意思，必须加上一个表明主语性质或状态的表语，才能表达完整的意思。
常见的系动词：
My book is on the desk.
be动词类：am, is , are , was, were
Children grow wiser as they grow.
表示变化类：become, get, turn, grow, go
His voice sounded strange on the phone.
感官动词类：look, sound, smell, taste, feel
He kept all the money in the bank.
表示延续性的动词：remain, stay, keep
2. 主语+谓语（不及物动词）（+状语)
在此句型中，谓语由不及物动词充当，后面不能直接跟宾语，但有时可跟状语，说明动作发生的时间、地点、原因、结果、程度、目的等。
3. 主语+谓语（及物动词）+宾语（+状语）
在此句型中，谓语是及物动词，其后必须跟宾语。句子的宾语可由名词、代词、不定式、动词-ing形式、从句等来充当。
You must listen to me.
He arrived in London yesterday.
Lily is waiting for him at the school gate.
4. 主语+谓语（及物动词）+间接宾语+直接宾语（+状语）
有些及物动词后需要跟两个宾语，指人的叫间接宾语，指物的叫直接宾语。
Will you pass me the book on the desk?
=Will you pass the book to me on the desk?
My parents bought me a nice birthday present.
=My parents bought a nice birthday present for me.

接双宾语的动词：
①跟介词to的动词：bring, tell, give, pass, sell, send, show, teach, pay, promise, return, offer等。
Could you give me the letter?=Could you give the letter to me?
②跟介词for的动词：buy, make, find, save, choose, order,build等。
He bought me a gift. =He bought a gift for me.
5. 主语+谓语（及物动词）+宾语+宾语
补足语（+状语）
在此句型中，“宾语+宾语补足语”称为复合宾语。宾语补足语通常由形容词、名词、不定式、动词-ing形式等充当。

常见的接宾语补足语的动词：
find, think, advise, allow, call, ask, consider, make,
leave, keep, warn, tell, leave, name, see, notice, hear, watch, observe等。
They usually call the baby Dick.
I heard someone playing the guitar next door.
She will make him happy.
6. There+be+主语（+状语）
There is a computer and some books on the desk.
There are some books and a computer on the desk.
